Crumb Cookies
The design, created in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dimension, is infused with a playful touch, characterized by the cake pattern sprinkled along the sides of the packaging and the inside of the flaps, offering a delightful surprise when the package is opened. The color palette features summery pastels, inspired by LA, though not all colors are used in this particular design. The idea is that the color will vary depending on the pastry; for example, the lime-green here reflects the lime flavor of the cake. The company’s logo symbolizes tradition, which is why a traditional emblem logo is used, but with a modern font that has been slightly modified to suit the format. The logo should feel established, as tradition builds trust, while also appearing fresh, which is primarily achieved through the font.

For this design project, I chose to focus on cookies, which allowed for a blend of creativity and playfulness in the design. Targeting a niche market—vegans in Los Angeles—I developed a brand that balances tradition with modernity. The logo combines a classic emblem shape with contemporary typography, evoking both trust and innovation.
The packaging, designed in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dimension, features a rectangular box with a dynamic layout. Key elements include a playful cookie pattern on the sides and inside flaps, offering a delightful surprise when opened. The business cards complement this design with a minimalist approach, incorporating vibrant colors and a QR code that links to the product website.
This project was both challenging and rewarding, as it required the integration of design principles and tools to create a cohesive and engaging brand identity.
